On this historic day celebrations, all the regional channels have planned to telecast the new movies and programs are lined up for the audience.

Sun TV will be airing Kuti Puli movie acted by Sasi Kumar, Superstar Rajini's blockbuster Padayaapa and Siva's Manam kothai Paravi.

Zee Tamizh will air Vijay Sethupathi's Sood Kavam. Kalaingar Channel will air Silambattam and Paiyya movies.
